SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE!!




well i wanted to get the rocket's smoke trail (no fire for now) but i guess its not looking what
I wanted it to be..
its pretty slow and has a far more wetter look to it..(though a rocket launch has this kinda look when the smoke hits the ground and spreads..but still, i did not get that look)
I think I'll have one set of particles for this particular look and another for a much drier and
carbonised look..
also increasing the 'Particle Velocity' using a Point SOP would help in giving the smoke much faster
look without changing the actual speed of particles..
orrrright!! here's the video..(I gotta go and try some stuff out :D )



PS: no rocket also (for now) haha THAT'S CALLED SMOKE WITHOUT FIRE!!


Edit: Well I just increased the Velocity in the Point SOP and the motion blur makes it look like its coming at a faster speed..the Point SOP (I guess its safe to say that) manipulates the point attributes without having to resimulate the Particles..even the scale of particles can thus be manipulated..its one of the most useful SOPs.
at the same time I have also started another experiment..
anyways I have put up the screenshots for caomparision's sake :)
